Cabinet Act

This act aims to clear up the cabinet and executive ministries.

Definitions

For the purposes of this act: 1. The cabinet refers collectively to the heads of all executive ministries. 2. "Child organisation" refers to any organisation created by or under the oversight of an executive ministry.

Article 1 - Definition of executive ministry

1. An executive ministry refers to any organisation created by the executive or that reports to the executive. 1. Organizations created by executive ministries still count as executive ministries, however they must also report to their parent organisation. 2. The creation of child organisations and appointments to them have to be approved by parliament as if they were a normal ministry. 2. An executive ministry does not necessarily have any more power then a non governmental organisation but it does have the direct oversight of the executive as provided by the constitution.

Article 2 - Constitutional amendments

1. This act hereby replaces article 7.3.1 "Appointments by the Ceticilian President to a ministry or office must be approved by the CetÞing with a simple majority vote." with "Major appointments by the Ceticilian President to a ministry or office must be approved by the CetÞing with a simple majority vote." and creates the sub clause article 7.3.1.1 "Major appointments refer to non trivial appointments with major national importance, typically heads of departments."
